Sugarfoot Escape is our family’s name for our dream beach condo located in Phase II of Summer House on Romar Beach—a terrific location in Orange Beach, Alabama. This beautiful property is part of the sought-after Summerhouse Orange Beach Alabama community.

With a wide private beach, fantastic amenities, and a super convenient location, Summer House has been a top favorite destination for beachgoers seeking Summer House Orange Beach rentals.

Unit 1502B checks all the boxes, featuring an incredible private patio, exceptional unobstructed Gulf views, large bedrooms, and recent luxury updates, making it one of the most desirable Summerhouse Orange Beach rentals.

We also love the fact that we are located on the top floor, which minimizes noise from above and ensures that when you call an elevator, it is likely to arrive empty and ready to go!

After a recent deep renovation, we have updated all flooring, colors, furniture, and appliances.

Sugarfoot Escape provides dedicated high-speed internet with solid reception both inside and out on the patio. This means that if you log into our updated televisions for some Netflix or Hulu, you can actually enjoy your show! We offer the Enhanced Dish package for all TVs, providing live television channels and On Demand programming. The family room is equipped with a Bluetooth capable Dolby Digital Surround Sound System for your entertainment, along with a Samsung 65" Smart TV.

In the kitchen, we've refreshed the cookware and utensils and installed new Stainless Steel KitchenAid appliances, including a French door fridge, a feature-rich large convection oven, and a super quiet dishwasher. Additionally, we have a commercial-grade Manitowoc ice machine that produces 50# of gourmet ice per day.

The master bedroom offers a spectacular view, a comfy king-size bed, and an ensuite updated bathroom with modern cabinets, granite, and frame-less glass.  All the furniture was recently updated in 2025 and a new 55" Smart TV installed.

Sugarfoot Escape includes a second King bedroom and a third large bedroom with 2 queen beds.  The King has a Samsung Smart TV and the Queen room has a 55" Smart TV.  These bedrooms are conveniently located on a connecting hallway to the second bathroom, which is also updated with granite and frame-less glass.

Our unit is unique, featuring a tankless hot water heater that keeps up with the shower queue before dinner (unlike standard 30-gallon tank heaters). We truly love our tankless hot water! Furthermore, we have a dehumidifier installed in our AC closet, making the space noticeably more comfortable.

Summer House is a convenient shuttle stop for popular destinations like FloraBama! With restaurants, grocery stores, convenience shops, and liquor stores right nearby, it’s hard to beat this location. More importantly, the private beach access is situated on the BEST stretch of sand in Orange Beach.

NOTE: Summer House has a strict “2 Vehicle Max Per Unit” policy, and vehicles must always display the Vehicle Registration certificate in the parking lot upon arrival. The cost per vehicle is $50 each per stay for up to 30 days.  This is payable at the Guard Shack upon arrival.  

Don’t want to mess with your own beach gear? Umbrellas and chairs are available to rent from Summer House right on the beach for most of the prime beach days of the year (March - October).

Summer House has been fully renovated as well on the exterior.  This was a massive project.  Sugarfoot Escape boasts brand new sliding glass doors, new front door, windows, and hurricane shutters!  In addition, the exterior color is updated and the old tiles and pavers are replaced with a beautiful epoxy finish.
