To book and occupy Sugarfoot Escape, guests must be 25 years old or older. All single guests under 25 years must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. It’s important to note that the booking guest must be present onsite during the stay; therefore, it is not permissible to reserve for your children and their friends without being there yourself.

Please be aware that no refund will be issued for violations of this age occupancy agreement, and immediate departure will be required.

Lodging taxes will be added to any rates estimated or quoted for your stay at Summer House Orange Beach, Alabama.

At the conclusion of your stay, our expert cleaning partner will be ready at 10 AM to prepare Sugarfoot Escape for our next guests, so please plan for a 10 AM checkout! The cleaning fee for a typical family who tidies up during their stay is $180.

**Booking Instructions:**

- A $500 refundable security deposit is required in the form of a credit card hold.

- 50% of the rental fee is due at the time of reservation, with the remaining balance due 45 days prior to arrival.

**Payments:**

Visa, AMEX, MasterCard, and Discover are all accepted methods of payment.

**Cancellation & Refund Policy:**

- Bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of the stay will receive a full refund of any prepaid rental payments and taxes, less $250.

- Bookings canceled at least 30 days before arrival will receive a 50% refund of the booking total, less $250.

- No refund is available for bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival.

At the time of booking, travel insurance will be offered in a follow-up email. This is highly recommended if you foresee a reason to cancel or are concerned about storms during Hurricane season.

Cancellations due to weather will be honored only if city authorities order an evacuation for the declared days. If this is a concern, please consider purchasing Trip Insurance separately, as it will be offered via email after booking.

**Damages:**

Guests agree that any damages to the unit exceeding the paid damage deposit will be the guest's responsibility to pay. Intentional damage or theft will be prosecuted.

**House Rules:**

- Check-In: 4:00 PM

- Check-Out: 10:00 AM

- No pets and no smoking policies are strictly enforced.

- The minimum age to rent and access Sugarfoot Escape is 25 years, and this will be verified. Single guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Any evidence of smoking in the unit or pets will forfeit the refundable deposit. Furthermore, any fines imposed by the Summer House HOA will be added to the deposit and will be the guest's responsibility.

Sugarfoot Escape accommodates a maximum of 8 guests for sleeping and being on the premises. As part of the Summer House Orange Beach rentals community, we expect all guests to respect one another, which includes adhering to quiet hours at night and respecting the hours of the amenities.

Please follow all housekeeping guidelines, or an additional cleaning fee will be applied.

If you found us on one of the multiple vacation rental booking sites and completed a booking for a Summerhouse Orange Beach, Alabama property through that site, please do not request to cancel that reservation. Instead, work with us directly for the same Summer House Orange Beach rentals, as bypassing their fees that were previously agreed upon is not allowed. Our channel partners are quite good at tracking these transactions and will most likely send a bill for their fees related to Summerhouse Orange Beach rentals or Summerhouse Romar Beach.
